I had tried everything!
South Beach, Keto, Atkins, low-fat, low-carb, low calorie--every kind of diet you can think of, I tried it. It all started after I had my first child, and then it got even worse after I had my second. I was desperate to lose the weight, but nothing worked for me.
I would usually make a little bit of progress, but then end up binge eating and gain all the weight back, and then some. In fact, the harder I tried, the more weight I gained.
I can remember one morning before I had to go to work... I had purchased a new wardrobe for the second time because all of my old clothes were too tight and didn't fit. Now, all of a sudden, I couldn't even fasten the button of these new jeans! A wave of depression washed over me, and I drove to work despondent, wondering if I should just give up on my dreams of slimming down to a reasonable weight.
